Transmission Electron Microscopy at BioVis

The Transmission Electron Microscope, FEI Technai G2, has been in use since end of May 2012. It is equipped with two cameras, one very high resolution camera and a second one for pictures in publication quality which is very rapid and easy to handle.

We can run the microscope for you, or you may run it yourself after an introduction. We offer sample preparation, embedding and sectioning, for morphology and immunocytochemistry TEM. We have experience with many different specimens, such as tissue and cell samples, plants, bacteria, viruses, exosomes, adjuvants etc. We offer advice and expertise regarding techniques and sample preparation, as well as guidance in evaluation of both morphological and immunological analyses

Before submitting your samples we would like to book a meeting with you to:

• Discuss appropriate technical approaches
• Inform on how to fixate the samples
• Set up a time- and cost plan
